For your convenience, you can find several booths with information about the different holiday activities, and of programs we offer all year long.
Summer Garden (Ginat HaKayitz):
Arts and Crafts- You may enjoy the crafts before or after the journey
Tour Train- An explanatory tour in Hebrew around the reserve. Tickets can be purchased at the tour train departure station located in the Summer Garden, for additional 10 NIS (age 3 and above). Tour takes about 20 minutes.
Holiday tour trails: (in Hebrew)
The trails begin behind the Shikmim Pool. You will arrive at an intersection leading to two trails. Please follow the signs directing to the trail you chose. Both trails are suitable for wheelchairs and baby strollers.
We strongly recommend families with young children to follow one of the holiday trails.
Short Trail (approximately 1 km)
Ruth's Threshing floor (Goren Ruth)- learn the story of Neot Kedumim, and hear about barley harvesting.
The Lion's Cistern (Bor Ha'Ari)- learn about the qualities of the cistern as a water source for desert wanderers and mountain dwellers. Draw cool water from within its walls.
Long Trail (approximately 2 km)
The Pine Tree Benches (Safsalei Ha'Oren)- learn the story of Neot Kedumim, while enjoying the blossom, fragrances, and sounds of spring.
Rebecca's Cistern (Bor Rivkah)- learn about the qualities of the cistern as a water source for desert wanderers and mountain dwellers. Draw cool water from within its walls.
The Cedar Tree Sukkah (Sukkat Ha'Arazim)- learn about the hyssop, its importance, and symbolism-"And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin" (Exodus, 12:22)
Guided Tour in English:
Will take place on Wednesday and Thursday only.
Departure from the Summer Garden at noon (12:00pm).*
*Please register in advance at the information booth in the summer garden. Tour will depart provided there will be minimum number of participants. It is geared for adults and children from age 9 and above.
We strongly recommend families with small children to do one of the holiday trails mentioned above.
Horesh Stage (Bimat HaHoresh): A common area for both trails
"A tale of two brothers" (in Hebrew) A magnificent lyrical story about brotherhood and love.
The duration of the show is 20 min.

Solomon's Pool Area(Brechat Shlomo):
Ancient agricultural devices
Different farmers will demonstrate the unique ancient agricultural devices used to produce goods from the land.
Livestock animals - With a demonstration of shearing
Demonstration of building construction using mud bricks
“Voices of Nature- Musical show”
A sweeping performance of musical instruments made of recycled materials by the musician David fenster
The duration of the show is 30 min.
